About the Artist

Desak Nyoman Parwati was born in Gianyar, Bali in 1972. A firm, patient but talkative woman, Parwati enjoys singing, sports, and organizing. Married to Dewa Made Yadnya, a former tour guide who now supports her garment business, Parwati has three children.

When starting her business, Parwati had to leave her children with relatives while she worked. However, her children now bring her great happiness, despite the initial challenges. Parwati's motto is to never give up, no matter how difficult the situation, as life must go on.
